LentiKats®

PVA based hydrogel particles for encapsulation of biocatalysts This novel technology employs poly-vinylalcohol (PVA) as an immobilization matrix. PVA hydrogels are mechanically very stable and not prone to microbial degradation. By their special lens-shape they combine the advantages of small and large beads, i.e. low diffusional limitation and good retainability, respectively. This makes LentiKats® a very powerful alternative for encapsulation of biocatalysts. geniaLab® offers the whole range of equipment and materials for working with LentiKats®.

Materials Ready-to-use PVA preparations delivered in sterile form for your experiments, stabilizing chemicals and consumables for working with the special LentiKat® tools. Tools Special printer tools for easier work and better reproducibility of lab-scale preparations of LentiKats®. We offer two types of the printer tool differing in the size of the printing head.
